Global business and technology consulting firm, Slalom, has recently relocated to an office in the heart of Manchester. Surrounded by beautiful canals, warehouses, and viaducts, the city is beaming with industrial heritage.
Slalom established a presence in the capital just 4 years ago, but the company has grown from strength to strength and now operates throughout the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
The relocation to Manchester allows for further collaboration and helps the company meet the demands of the business while facilitating a growing team of 500+ individuals.
AC500 CEILING SYSTEM POWDER COATED IN SKY BLUE
Located across two floors, the company occupies 8,600 sq ft of office space, which has been transformed into a collaborative work space zone for the Slalom team to share ideas and meet with customers and partners.
Upon entering the building, visitors are greeted by a striking reception with a warm and welcoming feel, along with incredible panoramic views of the city. Multifunctional meeting rooms and break-out rooms are key features of the design, with movable wall systems that allow for privacy but also create an open plan space.
Working alongside Creatif and ADT Workspace on this project, we were asked to create a bold and striking ceiling system that would have space for the light to shine through. Our AC500 ceiling system was the most suitable ceiling system for this project. We supplied the system in 5015 Sky Blue, which complemented the overall design and colours used throughout the buildings and to make Slalom’s branding.
