Creative Process
Loop Interiors, entrusted with the design of Tradewinds’ new London office, aimed to create a workspace that prioritised staff wellbeing. Understanding the needs of a young, professional workforce, the design focused on fostering collaboration, flexibility, and relaxation. The goal was to establish a vibrant and functional office environment that promotes both productivity and employee satisfaction.
The inclusion of dedicated wellbeing zones allowed for activities such as yoga sessions and quiet contemplation, catering to the holistic wellness of the staff. These areas served as retreats within the office, emphasizing mental and physical health.
Working collaboratively with Loop Interiors, the choice of materials played a crucial role in bringing the design vision to life.
A spacious lunch area with tea and coffee facilities was introduced to provide a relaxing space for employees to unwind during breaks. The design aimed to create an inviting atmosphere, promoting social interactions and a sense of camaraderie among the staff.
An Expanded Mesh Ceiling System
The AC500 cloud raft ceiling system, featuring a two-tone colour scheme with powder-coated Upstand and T sections in RAL 9005 black, provided a sleek and contemporary aesthetic.
The RB25 expanded mesh tiles, powder-coated in RAL 9010 white, were seamlessly integrated into the ceiling frames. Plants were delicately woven between the mesh tiles, creating a visually striking and textured accent against the clean, white backdrop. The addition of greenery contributes to a lively and refreshing atmosphere, enhancing the overall workplace experience.
The successful collaboration between Tradewinds Recruitment and Loop Interiors resulted in a transformative office space that not only meets the functional needs of a recruitment agency but also prioritises the wellbeing of its staff. The carefully curated design elements, from wellbeing zones to the innovative ceiling system, have created an environment that fosters productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
