A refined and contemporary office refurbishment for the European headquarters of Sumitomo Corp, a global leader in trading and investment solutions, located in the heart of London.
Following a competitive tender process, DMG Workplace was appointed to transform the 45,000 sq. ft. space within a 30-week timeframe. Amron was brought on board to design and supply four key bespoke elements across the Reception, Breakout, and Meeting Rooms, all of which brought new and exciting challenges.

The World Map
A striking pic perf wall feature, designed to create a bold visual statement. The intricate bespoke pattern incorporates Lensbar LED lighting within each panel to illuminate a stunning world map. Hand-cut teal and white Perspex diffusers were carefully arranged in-house, allowing for adaptable colour transitions as Sumitomo evolves in the space.
Perforated Ceiling
A seamless, high-performance ceiling system utilising our AC300 perforated panels. The hidden hook-on system ensures a clean aesthetic while enhancing the space’s acoustic properties. The bespoke 40mm perforation pattern forms a flowing wave effect, aligning with the adjacent bleacher seating and LED lighting. Finished in RAL 9010 A2-rated powder coat, the ceiling provides both function and elegance.

Solid Metal Ceiling
The AC320 solid panels were specified for the meeting rooms, offering a minimalist ceiling design that seamlessly integrates LED luminaires. The hidden hook-on system creates a sleek, continuous finish, complementing the refined aesthetic of the space.
Bespoke Brass Wall Plaques
A unique and intricate detail, the meeting rooms feature 21 handcrafted brass plaques showcasing Sumitomo’s honoured business principles. Each plaque was fabricated using score-folded brass plates, bonded to ply, and screen-printed with text before being hand-patinated for an aged effect. A clear lacquer coat was applied to preserve the finish, resulting in a sophisticated and timeless installation.

Another Successful Project
This project pushed creative and technical boundaries, this is the first Pic Perf element Amron had worked on and this was completed by our technical team in-house, it was a learning curve but we learnt a lot throughout the process and are very pleased with the end result! This project seamlessly combines several of our products and systems, showcasing our wide range of metal solutions.
