As well as its luxuriousness, Harrods’ incredibly popular, extravagant, and breathtaking window displays are a favourite among tourists and city goers, with many heading to the capital regularly to check out their latest campaigns.
Kriskadecor Drapery in ‘Brilliant Silver’
Their May 2023 campaign centres around Versace, Saint Laurent, and designer Thom Brown, with the clothing design focus being bright colours, polka dots, and eccentricity.
We were asked to provide a creative metal solution for their Brompton Road window display. The design brief stated that they required a metal that could be hung like a curtain while also being flexible to bend and shape to create a draped, curved effect.

Our Kriskadecor metal chain curtains were the perfect option for this project due to their durability and resilience. We supplied our chains in aluminium, which was then anodised in ‘Brilliant Silver’ to give a rich, dense, shiny finish.
A large proportion of the chains were hung to create a bold, textured background for the designer’s clothes to sit in front of, while the remaining chains were bunched and hung from different heights and made from different thicknesses to create a spectacular and sinuous display. Due to the size of the window, we supplied 86 different chain lengths at 78 chains per linear metre.
We are delighted to have played such a significant role in the creation of this incredible and eye catching window display.
