Causeway Technology

The goal was to create a dynamic workplace that fosters collaboration and innovation while maintaining a visually appealing aesthetic.

The project aimed to provide a bespoke ceiling solution for the various areas within the new office space. This included breakout zones, client meeting areas, and the main office spaces. The ceiling system needed to be large enough to cover multiple areas while integrating seamlessly with the overall design, technology, and modern facilities.

Level Best Solutions and Area Design, renowned for their expertise in design, fit-out, and refurbishment solutions, were chosen as the project partners. The collaboration aimed to bring together their skills to create a space that not only met the functional requirements but also exceeded expectations in terms of design and aesthetics.

After careful consideration, the AC500 ceiling system with RB35 expanded mesh tiles was selected for its bespoke capabilities. The AC500 system allowed for the creation of large, customised rafts using off-the-shelf stock components. This flexibility was crucial in designing a ceiling that covered diverse areas within the office space.

The decision to use the AC500 ceiling system was influenced by its ability to be powder-coated. The chosen colour, RAL 9005 White, provided a crisp and clean ceiling that contrasted with the dark green walls, contributing to the desired modern aesthetic. In today’s workspace, ceilings are recognised as key design elements, and the selected system allowed for a tailored design that complemented the overall colour palette.

Recognising the importance of aesthetics in modern office design, the project incorporated design elements such as bright and bold colours to create an eye-catching feature. The integration of foliage and a carefully selected colour palette contributed to the creation of a visually appealing and modern workspace.

The bespoke ceiling solution not only met the functional requirements of covering diverse areas but also played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the workspace.
