Braze, London
American cloud-based software company and leading customer interaction specialists, Braze, have recently taken over a large scale office space in London.
After previously occupying co-working spaces, the team wanted to have a workspace that they could call their own and that would inspire the team and encourage brand connections.
Braze envisioned a space that would represent their ethos; they wanted to create a space that was branded, meaningful, and one that would encourage and foster staff engagement and interaction.
With this at the forefront of their minds, Braze appointed AIS to head up the design and build on this project. What started out as idea soon developed into sketches, and a full design brief was put into place.
AC500 ceiling system with Zircon RB35 Expanded Mesh in Black
The initial design concept featured a “when nature calls” design that focused on the use of natural materials, but upon reflection, the design idea was adapted to one that emphasised the power of colour. This is a core component of Braze’s branding and one that reflects the vibrancy of the team. With various breakout spaces and rooms to engage and collaborate, the new office space features a coffee shop, meeting rooms, and space for team activities.
We were approached by AIS, which asked us to supply a ceiling system above the main staircase and an oval system above the circular table. They required a system that would provide access to the services above and one that lights could be suspended from. With this in mind, our AC500 ceiling system was the most suitable solution for this project.
We supplied our AC500 ceiling system with Zircon RB35 expanded mesh ceiling tiles to Level Best Solutions, who installed them. Our ceiling rafts and tiles were powder coated in RAL 9005 (black) and made for an eye-catching feature and were the talking point of the design.
