Bowling Harbour, Scotland
Set in the beautiful Scottish countryside, Bowling Harbour is a place for people to eat, drink, explore, and shop.
Just a short 30-minute drive from Glasgow city centre, Bowling Harbour has a small beach and woodland with stunning views of the River Clyde.

This newly regenerated harbour has something for everyone to enjoy. The £5.5 million rejuvenation project has injected life into the area and added lots of amenities like an activity hub and cafe, which are popular with cyclists, walkers, and those who want to enjoy the surroundings.
ZIRCON RB35 EXPANDED MESH USED FOR THE BALUSTRADES
The work was completed in phases, with the first phase focusing on the conversion of the railway viaduct arches into large retail units and the creation of a new frontage and viewpoints overlooking the Clyde. The second phase focuses on the gateway space, residential housing, and the creation of a park and cycle route.

We worked with landscape architects Rakin Fraser on this project, where we supplied our Zircon RB35 expanded mesh for the balustrades surrounding the walkway along the harbour. We supplied our expanded mesh in its raw form, it was then cut and coated externally.
The aim of this project was to boost the area by making it more attractive and an exciting place for people to visit while keeping the heritage and original historical features.
